Say hello to our new Director of Health, Safety and Environment, Darren

We’re excited to be welcoming Darren Thain to the team as The Compleat Food Group’s first Director of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

Darren joins Compleat with more than 13 years’ experience in health and safety across a variety of sectors. He started his career at Royal Mail as part of its operations graduate scheme and later became the company’s youngest Regional HSE Director. After this, Darren joined Mondelez International, before moving into his most recent role as Head of Health and Safety for the Müller Group.

Darren will be responsible for ensuring that our HSE strategy aligns with our vision to become the UK’s No 1 chilled prepared food company, which gives equal emphasis to how we operate as to the financial results we achieve.

On joining the group, Darren said: “Having worked for some of the world’s leading food companies, I’m looking forward to bringing my expertise in health and safety to Compleat and putting my own stamp on this new role. It will be my priority to build on the fantastic work already being done across HSE, and continue to positively impact the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone associated with our business.”
