We’re looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader to join our team in Thorne.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and wants to play an important part in delivering great products, supporting colleagues and achieving production targets.

Job Title: Production Team Leader

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 21.45 – 05.45

Location: Coulman Road Industrial Estate, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN8 5JS

What you’ll be doing

As a Team Leader, you’ll take responsibility for your area, making sure we have the right people and equipment in place to deliver the production plan safely, efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect.

You’ll be right at the heart of the operation, supporting and motivating your team while making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the shift.

  • Keeping production lines running smoothly and escalating any faults or issues quickly
  • Leading and supporting operatives to achieve production targets safely and efficiently
  • Motivating your team and helping create a positive working environment
  • Making sure your area has the right skills and training coverage for holidays and absence
  • Identifying training and development needs within your team
  • Ensuring production and quality paperwork is completed accurately
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and providing a clear handover between shifts
  • Supporting the Shift Supervisor and stepping up to provide Supervisor cover when required
  • Making sure products consistently meet the required quality standards
