We are recruiting for a Specifications Technologist to join our team.

 

To provide administrative support to Technical Services department. You are expected to conform to product, quality, legality procedures as detailed by your line manager.

Location and shifts: Middlesbrough, Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5pm and Friday: 8:30am – 4pm

Salary: £31,000.00 – £32,000.00 annually 

 

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Generation of customer specifications for Asda, Morrison’s, Co-op, Tesco, M&S, Aldi, Waitrose & JS.
  • Checking and approving artwork on customer websites for Asda, Morrison’s, Co-op, Tesco, M&S, Aldi, Waitrose & JS.
  • Contacting suppliers regarding raw material specification queries.
  • Calculating ingredient declarations using NPD recipes 
  • Other duties as required  

 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Computer literate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of customer specific needs
  • Knowledge of food regulations and FIC
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to multi-task to tight deadlines.
  • Able to prioritise and plan workload to achieve required targets.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Reliable, conscientious.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Driving license and car

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous food industry experience
