What You’ll Be Doing

As a QA Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our quality operations — supporting production, monitoring standards, and helping us continuously improve.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Conducting daily factory walk rounds to ensure excellent GMP and hygiene standards across site.
  • Supporting production teams to resolve quality and technical issues, carrying out detailed investigations to prevent recurrence.
  • Performing taste panels and product reviews to make sure every bite meets our high standards.
  • Carrying out swabbing, air plate testing, and product sampling, investigating any out-of-spec results.
  • Completing Pre-Dispatch Verification checks and ensuring all products leave site safely and to spec.
  • Supporting traceability exercises, audits, and complaint investigations, providing clear and accurate reports.
  • Assisting with new product launches, ensuring labelling, coding, and metal detection systems are correctly set up.
  • Promoting Health & Safety best practices and supporting safe working across all departments.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone with passion, curiosity, and a commitment to doing things right. You’ll bring:

  • Previous QA or technical experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of food safety, allergens, and GMP principles.
  • Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or willingness to complete it).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills — you enjoy working with others to achieve great results.
  • IT literacy, including Word, Excel, and technical data systems.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and pride in maintaining the highest standards.
