Production Supervisor – Chilled Food Manufacturing

Location: The Compleat Food Group, Lincoln Way, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 1QD

Shift:  05:30 – 18:00, Fortnightly rotating shift pattern –  Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday  Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Pay: £17.46 per hour (£36,540 per annum)

What You'll Do as a Production Supervisor

  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve daily production targets.
  • Ensure products are made to high quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Work closely with planning, warehouse, and quality teams to avoid downtime and meet deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs (OEE, waste, labour, safety).
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently, especially during changeovers or delays.
  • Support training and development of team members.
  • Promote a “clean as you go” culture and maintain excellent GMP at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of H&S, BRC, Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP practices.
  • Ability to prioritise, stay calm under pressure, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene (required)
  • HACCP Level 2/3 (preferred)
  • Team Management qualification (desirable)
  • Chemical Awareness & Hygiene Training
