Job Title: Production Operative

Working Hours: 4on 4off shift pattern 6am – 6pm

Pay: £12.75 per hour ( Overtime available)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Production Operative, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following safe systems of work and food safety procedures
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
• Operating equipment and following production processes accurately
• Working efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Supporting a “right first time” culture
• Communicating effectively with team members and raising issues when needed
• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organised
• Using manual handling techniques safely and correctly
• Taking ownership of your work and contributing positively to the team
• Supporting operational excellence and on-time product delivery

No two days are the same, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential!

What We’re Looking For

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
• Good communication skills — both written and verbal
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
• Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
• Previous experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of GMP and Health & Safety standards
• Work safely at all times
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site rules
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
• Wear and care for PPE correctly
• Support food safety and quality standards
• Promote a clean-as-you-go culture
• Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly
