Night Shift Production Manager 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our brilliant Production Team!

Based at our manufacturing site in Milton Keynes, you will have management responsibility for night shift leaders and departmental employees, ensuring production requirements are met.

Location: Milton Keynes 

Hours: Rotating shift pattern 3 days on, 3 days off, 18:00-06:00.

Salary: £42,000 per annum. 

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored, and targets achieved
  • Ensure a safe and efficient workplace is maintained at all times
  • Co-ordinate with support functions concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation
  • Ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications
  • Deliver shift briefs with focus on quality, cost, and delivery, and gathering ideas for improvement
  • Follow up to customer concerns to identify and eliminate root cause 
  • Meet external and internal auditory standards and improvements, providing support during audits
  • Train operatives for products and processes within the team
  • Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and action closures.
  • Share ideas with management team to improve operations and support implementation of continuous improvement activities in line with quality standards 
  • Responsibility to manage attendance, performance and personnel issues for team members 

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in food manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of health and safety issues to areas of food production
  • Experience of training and managing people
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • HACCP awareness (Level 3 Desirable)
  • Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene (Desirable)
