We are looking for an IT 3rd Line Engineer to join our tasty business. The right candidate will not only have a passion for everything IT, but also have a love for food too! 

 

 IT 3nd Line Engineer 

The main purpose of the role is to proactively monitor and support the Compleat Food Group IT infrastructure and ensure the highest performance against agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) is attained. You will also act as an escalation point for the 1st and 2nd line teams. 

 

Key Technical Skills / Experience:

 

  • Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment is essential.
  • In-depth understanding and experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Microsoft365 and network infrastructures.
  • Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft HyperV virtualisation, SQL Server, VPNs, WANs and cloud-based technologies including Microsoft Azure.
  • Broad experience of acting as a Point of Contact for all service related questions.
  • Demonstrate opening questioning, faulting finding, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Experience of working as part of a geographically diverse IT function.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams including incident resolution and project work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of engaging with multiple stakeholders and prioritise activity accordingly.
  • Demonstrable experience of ownership of key customer issues / problems and the ability to follow up the status of escalations.
  • Communicate progress in a timely manner.
