Our Finance department is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Crewe.

 

You will be leading the finance team to ensure all aspects of finance is covered and completed in a timely manner and within the regulations set.

Reporting into the financial controller for operations (with a dotted line to the site director), this role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

 

  • Being an integral part of the site leadership team and a business partner to the site director.
  • Ownership of the full site P&L and balance sheet.
  • Ensure that the site KPI reporting is timely and supported with detailed understanding.
  • Site variance reporting and understanding of MUV, Labour efficiency and distribution.
  • Working with the commercial finance manager to understand sales and standard margins within the frozen, fresh, wholesale and retail areas and aid future decisions on site profitability.
  • Site overhead control and ensuring cost centres are owned by the relevant SLT members through regular reviews.
  • Completing the preparation of capex proposals and ensuring post investment appraisals are completed and measured in line with original proposal.
  • Leading the onsite finance team of 7 
  • Play a key part of the continuous cycle, not only in measuring live projects but supporting development of future pipeline.

 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communicator (both verbal and written)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • ERP Knowledge
  • People Management/Development
  • FMCG Senior finance experience
  • Strong history of building relationships with other internal stakeholders
