Engineering Analyst at The Compleat Food Group

Location: Nottingham, but flexible to WFH 3/2 days per week.

The Role: Engineering Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret engineering data, identifying trends and patterns using statistical methods and tools.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of engineering systems and processes, identify improvement areas, and recommend efficiency-enhancing solutions.
  • Simulation and Modeling: Develop and use computer models to analyse engineering outcomes, assessing the impact of system changes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate engineering issues by conducting root cause analyses and propose corrective actions.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in projects or systems, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Feasibility Studies: Evaluate the technical, economic, and operational feasibility of proposed engineering projects.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Assess the cost-effectiveness of engineering initiatives and support informed decision-making on resource allocation.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document analysis methodologies and findings, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure alignment of engineering analysis with organisational goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure engineering activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Technology Assessment: Evaluate new technologies for enhancing engineering processes and make recommendations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about advancements in engineering methodologies and tools.
