To provide administration support to the engineering department including reporting on Engineering KPIs.
To liaise with technical, covering all audit data and NCNs relating to engineering
Key Accountabilities :
Be the first point of contact for all administration requirements from within the Engineering department
Be the department’s principal point of contact for technical and customer audits ensuring compliance with customer codes of practice, including ensuring NCNs are completed
Ensure all the engineering departments’ processes and procedures are processes mapped and documented and reviewed annually issued with signed conformation from all engineering personnel
Ensure the engineering department technical library is maintained and up to date
To assist the Engineering Manager to develop and implement comprehensive training and development plans and skills matrix, for all engineering staff.
Ensure all work orders and equipment failures recorded are logged on the CMMS System and assist GTLs in ensuring continuity across all reporting platforms
Produce reports to meet business requirements. Specifically for the engineering department; PPM completion, Work Order Completion, MTTR, MTTF, Downtime analysis, Parts outstanding and any custom reports as and when required.
Input and monitor all Engineering Departments holidays, escalating any labor concerns to the Engineering Manager.
Maintain and always look to improve the safety and cleanliness of the office and surrounding area
Escalate improvement opportunities and concerns to the Engineering Manager.
As and when the business requires provide cover and support to other similar roles within the engineering department.
What Good Looks Like:
Log and provide daily information for the Engineering Manage
Liaise with the technical team for updates on audits, being their first point of contact.
All processes and procedures mapped, reviewed, and signed by the department on an annual basis
Technical library is kept up to date
Assist with completing such tasks as gap analysis and organizing any required training.
The CMMS system is kept up to date
Complete and communicate reports within the deadlines set.
Ensure Kronos is up to date with all Engineering staff holidays
Office is kept in order and presents no hazards
Communication with the Engineering Manager when required.
Provide cover for the role during holiday/ absence at the Engineering Managers request
Experience working in a team in a process environment.
Desirable – Experience of working in an administration role within an engineering environment for a minimum of 2 years.
Desirable – Experience in working with CMMS or other complex CRM databases, to an administrator level
