We have a new opportunity to join The Compleat Food Group as a Careers Apprentice! This role is your chance to make an impact within our business by supporting career development initiatives and early talent programmes that empower our employees and future leaders. You will gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 HR qualification.

Location: Nottingham, NG2 1LU (hybrid working)

Working Hours: Monday- Thursday, 08:30 – 17:00, Friday, 8:30 – 16:00

About the Role

As a Careers Apprentice, you will:

  • Support our career development initiatives and early talent programs like apprenticeships, internships, and graduate schemes, including involvement in group projects that shape the future of our careers.
  • Be an ambassador for our career initiatives, showcasing our opportunities and offerings across the group.
  • Assist with recruiting activities, such as job postings, coordinating applications, and scheduling interviews, to ensure we attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Help plan and deliver career events like workshops, fairs, and onboarding sessions.
  • Provide administrative support, keeping resources updated and managing participation records.
  • Engage with employees and early talent, sharing information about our fantastic career pathways and opportunities.
  • Provide support and answer enquiries across our business to help our colleagues achieve their career aspirations.

Who we’re looking for:

  • No experience necessary – we’re looking candidates with genuine interest to support career development and early careers programmes!
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
  • Driving licence & own vehicle essential due to occasional travel requirements to colleges, recruitment fairs, assessment days or other sites across the group
