Stock Controller – Night Shift

We have a new opportunity for a Reconciliation (Stock Control) Team Member to join our team in Ebbw Vale!

This role is central to ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting the efficient flow of stock throughout our operation. You'll take ownership of stock reconciliation and Manufacturing Order management, proactively investigating discrepancies and implementing solutions to maintain accurate inventory records.

Working across warehouse and manufacturing functions, you'll help drive operational excellence, improve data accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Location: The Compleat Food Group, Rassau Industrial Estate, Rassau, NP23 5SD

Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off – Nights 5pm-5am.

Salary: £33,103.65 + potential overtime available.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and processing stock adjustments to maintain accurate inventory records across business systems.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records within M3 Cloudsuite and supporting systems.
  • Monitoring stock accuracy and identify trends or recurring issues.
  • Managing Manufacturing Orders within M3 Cloudsuite, ensuring materials are issued correctly and discrepancies are investigated and resolved
  • Ensuring Manufacturing Orders are closed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with operational teams to resolve MO-related queries and issues.
  • Producing reconciliation reports and operational performance summaries.
  • Analysing inventory and manufacturing data to identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of investigations and corrective actions, escalating unresolved issues where appropriate.
  • Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Following inventory control and reconciliation processes in line with company standards.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using M3 or another manufacturing ERP system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to investigate issues and identify root causes
  • Positive attitude towards change and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing, administration, or reconciliation activities (desirable)
