Asset Care Technician

Our Engineering department is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for an Asset Care Technician to join our brilliant team in Nottingham.

The purpose of the Asset Care Technician is to carry out maintenance on all "change part" equipment. This includes completing line changeovers according to the Daily Plan or as directed by Operations Management. Asset Care is a proactive maintenance role. The only reactive maintenance that should be performed by the operative is in response to the failure of specified "Parts.

Working Hours & Salary:

The working hours in this role are 4 on 4 off (Night Shift: 6pm – 6am)

 Salary: £35,000 per annum

 Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain equipment as per instruction for:
    • Rademaker
      • Foil Dispenser – Magazine, Manifold, Stems/Suction Cups, Piab, Pipes
      • Blockers – Dies, Base Tool, Filters, Piab, Air Lines, Heater Cables
      • Tamper – Gauze
      • Ejector – Plates
    • Mini Pie
      • Blocker – Die
      • Crimper – Die
      • Main Chains
    • Optimum Line
      • Main Chains
      • Flights
    • Stecks
      • Cylinders/Pistons
      • Air Lines/Connectors
      • Cables
  • Conduct belt inspections and lubrication tasks
  • Perform equipment changeovers to ensure line readiness for production
  • Execute non-technical PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) as per requests from Planner/Scheduler
  • Maintain cleanliness of die man room and complete daily documentation
  • Ensure area is audit-ready at all times

Measures:

  • 100% completion of PPM schedule
  • 100% of all planned changeovers completed within allotted time window
  • 95% completion of Minor PPMs
  • 100% completion of GMP/Standards tasks
