Shift Pattern:  06:00 – 18:00 4on 4off

Location: Unit 4, Bristol Distribution Park, Hawkley Drive, Woodlands Road, Bradley Stoke, Bristol BS32 0BF

Salary:  £14.68  per hour (plus overtime outside of normal shift)

At our Bristol site we are one of the leading producer's of chilled soups and sauces. We proudly supply roughly 40% of the UK's chilled sauces and 20% of the country’s chilled soups to some of the UK's leading retailers.

About the Role

As a Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily production activities, ensuring smooth operations across the department, and helping the team achieve maximum efficiency and performance.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating shift activities, maintaining health & safety standards, supporting team performance, and ensuring all production processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Support and deputise for the Zone Manager when required
• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to production operatives
• Monitor team performance and ensure effective staffing across the shift
• Address staffing issues promptly and escalate where necessary
• Support onboarding and buddy training for new starters

Production & Operational Excellence

• Carry out effective shift handovers with previous management teams
• Ensure pre-start checks are completed and equipment is operational
• Maintain production readiness and cleanliness standards
• Complete toolbox and equipment checks at the start and end of shifts
• Ensure all paperwork and CCP checks are completed accurately and on time

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture
• Ensure correct PPE is worn in line with colour-coded procedures
• Follow factory procedures and report any issues or discrepancies
• Support traceability and food safety standards across the department

• Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
• Food Safety Level 2
• Health & Safety Level 2
• Knowledge of production operations and processes
