We are looking for a proactive and motivated Team Leader to join our Chilled Food Manufacturing team at Twin Brook. This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the production and packing areas while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational performance.

You will play a key role in leading teams, maintaining manufacturing integrity, ensuring HACCP and site standards are met, and supporting the Production Supervisor to achieve production targets and continuous improvement objectives.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:30 – 23:00  (5 out of 7 days)

Pay: £15.74 per hour or £32,739 per hour ( Overtime available)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and support processing staff to ensure the efficient running of the production area
  • Ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and company quality standards
  • Follow daily production plans and minimise downtime
  • Support the Production Supervisor and Shift Manager with workload planning and staff allocation
  • Liaise with stores to ensure materials are available and production delays are avoided
  • Ensure changeovers are completed efficiently and on time
  • Complete accurate production documentation and provide effective shift handovers
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
  • Monitor production standards and challenge non-conformance where necessary
  • Support waste reduction and environmental procedures
  • Assist with New Product Development (NPD) activities
  • Train and support new starters within the team
  • Achieve site KPIs and operational targets
  • Carry out additional reasonable duties as required
  • Follow all site Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
  • Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, near misses, and accidents
  • Participate in Health & Safety training and toolbox talks

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Previous team leading or supervisory experience
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene
  • HACCP Level 2/3
  • Essential Hygiene & Chemical Awareness
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety, Food Safety, BRC standards, and PPE requirements
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
