We’re now looking for a Commercial Manager to join our fast-paced and highly visible commercial team, supporting one of the UK’s largest retailers within a growing and dynamic category.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering commercial success across the Plant Based category. Working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll support the delivery of joint business plans, drive category insight, and help build strong customer relationships.

You’ll gain broad exposure across sales, category, and product launches—making this an ideal role for someone looking to accelerate their career in FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Commercial Management

  • Support delivery of the joint business plan with Tesco across the Plant Based category 
  • Build strong day-to-day relationships with key customer contacts 
  • Prepare for customer meetings including performance reviews, promotional planning, and innovation presentations 
  • Monitor sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities 

Category & Insight

  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities 
  • Support the development of category-led selling stories 
  • Collaborate with category and marketing teams to build compelling customer propositions 

Project & Launch Management

  • Support the successful launch of new products into the Tesco Plant Based range 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, NPD, Marketing, and Finance 

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams across the business to ensure alignment 
  • Support forecasting and demand planning to maintain strong service levels 

About You

You’re a commercially minded, data-driven professional with a passion for FMCG and a desire to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical capability 
  • Confident working with data, reports, and financial information to generate insights 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Proactive, energetic, and solutions-focused 
  • Flexible and willing to travel across UK sites and customer locations
