Stock Controller

Job Title: Stock Controller

Location: The Compleat Food Group, Maer Lane, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 3AL

Working Hours: 5am to 5pm, 4 on / 4 off

Pay: £14.77 per hour

Reporting To: Materials Factory Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

• Works to required standards within Health & Safety guidelines
• Challenges poor SHE and encourage good practice in team
• Works to required food safety & quality standards
• Undertake checks on operatives in area to ensure that correct procedures are taking place, paperwork is being filled out correctly and the quality of product is good
• Complete regular paperwork verifications, and sign as per site procedures
• Monitor materials being used challenging operators with weight control
• Excellent technical knowledge of Lawson – able to troubleshoot and resolve problems with minimum escalation, complete full stock counts and investigate discrepancies
• Actively supports identification of improvements and on the ground implementation
• Liaises with group leader & managers with regards to material variances
• Control and be able to account for materials used within own area
• Create and close down factory manufacturing orders
• Monitor Lawson system checking and correcting irregularities
• Ensure Reconciliation sheet is completed with accurate Giveaway and Reject figures
• Identify potential Out of codes to area manager, where necessary assisting production with concessions   
• Demonstrate through training to become a Lawson Power user ,Help and assist staff with Lawson
