We’re proud of our ongoing partnership with FareShare UK, the UK’s largest charity fighting hunger and food waste.
Fellow FareShare partner Tesco has been donating surplus food for over ten years, as well as running in-store food collection events. In December David Moore, our Poole Bakery team, and members of our Tesco team Andy Blackett, Brett Rosehill and Elizabeth Hanscomb visited their local Tesco stores to help collect customer food donations.
To date we have donated enough surplus food to make over 800,000 meals and we’re looking forward to meeting the 1 million meal mark of donations as quickly as we can.
