Leading food manufacturer, The Compleat Food Group, has published its first ever ESG Report, as it reaffirms its commitment to sustainable food production
Recently members of The Compleat Food Group team took part in an exciting pilot scheme with IGD, sharing their knowledge and discussing the wealth of career opportunities the food industry offers with young people in Nottinghamshire.
Head of ESG David Moore, Group Talent and Resourcing Manager Beth Eley and Graduate George Buckwell held an interactive virtual session with IGD and 300 sixth form students across four schools. Our team shared details about their job roles, the skills involved and advice for students looking to join the food industry.
To give the pupils a sense of what it’s like to work in the food industry, 14 of these students spent a day with Early Careers and Talent Advisor Natasha Martin and Graduate Ashleigh Ward at our Riverside Bakery in Nottingham, giving them a chance to see how our products are made and experience all the different departments that make The Compleat Food Group a success – from operations to finance and HR.
We’re passionate about investing in early careers at The Compleat Food Group, so it was fantastic to be able to inspire some brilliant young people and show them what a career in the food industry could look like for them.
