Palethorpes Bakery at the Market Drayton Tigers Football Club Tournament
Here at The Compleat Food Group, we love to support the local communities we operate in, which is why in June our Palethorpes Bakery team sponsored the U7-U10’s Market Drayton Tigers Football Club Tournament. Our sponsorship helped to supply the trophies for the winners of this year’s tournament, where over 400 children took part on the day.
We also donated a selection of our delicious pastries which were used to feed all the volunteers and referees. A proportion of this food was also sold for a small charge to players and spectators which helped us raise over £2,000 on the day for the club! The money we raised will be used for new equipment for all teams throughout the year, as well as helping with the start-up of the new U7 team formed by Market Drayton’s Tiny Tigers.
It was a great day filled with smiling faces. We’d like to wish a big congratulations to everyone who participated and to the Market Drayton Tigers Football Club for putting on a great tournament!
