We’re proud supporters of the Market Drayton 10k Run and sponsor of the Fun Run. We had a brilliant time attending the event to support the runners, including so many from our Palethorpes Bakery. And it wasn’t just the runners, many of our team also volunteered at the event as marshals, and we were also able to hand out Wall’s sausage rolls from the bakery to all the runners as a post-race pick me up.
It’s important to us at Compleat to be involved with the local areas we operate in. Over the past few years, community spirit and the health and wellbeing of our local residents has been more crucial than ever and so sponsoring the run, alongside volunteering and running in the event itself, is a fantastic way for us to show our support.
Congratulations to everyone that took part in both the Fun Run and the 10k. And a special mention to our own Chris Perry who completed the run in 39 minutes and 37 seconds, finishing 81st out of almost 2000 runners!
