Warehouse Operative role- Nights

Location: Redhill, Surrey, RH1 3AS

Temperature check, unloading of pallet/s and booking in the stock against a Handling Media number as per the BRC procedure using RF equipment

Put-away receipted stock into the warehouse racking (Relevant FLT licence required) scanning HM Number and racking location to verify accuracy

Replenishment of pick locations pallet live (Relevant FLT licence required) and Loading of the carton live locations as per the BRC procedure

Accurately pick and assemble customer orders using RF or voice equipment

Ensure the Pick Face contains the correct stock prior to picking. Report any discrepancies to Team Leader or Supervisor

Check pallets and cages are correctly labelled and compliant, with the appropriate SSCC pallet labels

Safe unloading of empty cages from vehicles and locating in warehouse

Safe loading of pallets & cages onto vehicles, without damage

Depots accurately recorded on Load Manifest and cages scanned onto vehicles as instructed

Awareness and compliance to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

Utilisation of all appropriate PPE whilst working, as provided by the organisation

Regular cleaning and tidying of the warehouse to maintain a safe working environment

Awareness and compliance to all Fire Safety Procedures, including the maintenance of clear Fire Exits and escape routes

On completion of appropriate training, to comply with all mechanical handling equipment procedures in line with the organisations standards

Awareness and compliance with all organisation policies relating to Food Safety and the handling of Food products

Assist with Depot Stock Takes, as and when required

To be smart and presentable whilst in the workplace, ensuring company issue clothing is clean and tidy

Punctual, to ensure the effective running of the warehouse operation

Carry out any other reasonable instruction, as directed by the Team Leader or Supervisor in line with your status and abilities

Required Skills:

Good basic numeracy skills
Good understanding of basic written English
Good communication skills
Team working Safe working practices in line with company H&S processes
Forklift licence
Counterbalance/Reach licence preferable
