Van Sales Driver

We require an experienced driver for the delivery of fresh products to our bakery shops. The vehicle will be loaded at Crewe for delivery to 4-6 Stoke based shops per day. Checking the deliveries both on and off the vehicle. Full uniform and training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Purpose of Job – To work by yourself to ensure the prompt, safe and correct delivery of a wide variety of savoury and confectionary items to the company's customers. Working Monday to Saturday. With early starts and finishing when deliveries are complete (40 hour week).

Skill Requirement – must have a full UK Driving Licence

• 7500kg (C1) Licence
• Driver Digital Tachograph
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Key Tasks and Area of Responsibility –
• to load your vehicle each morning with goods as listed on your daily delivery note

• to check the load and ensure that items are properly stacked and secured inside the vehicle
• deliver a wide variety of the company's products to the companies customers
• to treat all customers in a professional manner at all times
• complete all logs and paperwork daily or as when required
• drive safely at all times and follow all laws relating to driving and your vehicle
• ensure that all vehicle checks are performed as directed
• report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately to your manager
• keep your vehicle clean and presentable inside and out at all times
• ensure compliance with company operating procedures at all times
• carry out other duties linked with trade as reasonably requested in relation to the needs of the business
• take delivery instructions from supervisorsCompetitive rates of pay
