Salary: £11.75 – £14.82 p/h depending on shift and grade of job. 

Hours: 12 hour shifts (Days or Nights 3 on 3off) 6am – 18pm or 18pm – 6am

At The Compleat Food Group, we're always raising the bar and crafting delicious savoury foods and sausage rolls that delight taste buds across the nation. We're holding a recruitment open day on Saturday September 28th from 10am – 13pm to recruit for all our new factory vacancies. 

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our savoury squad as Production Operative's on day or night shifts. If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all things pastry, then you might just be the perfect filling for our team!

Job Description: As a Graded Production Operative, you will play a pivotal role in our fast-paced food production environment, ensuring the seamless operation of our Sausage roll production lines. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene while adhering to strict safety rules.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating Machinery: Safely and effectively operate production line machinery to produce high-quality sausage rolls and hot pies.

Risk Awareness: Identify and assess potential safety risks to ensure a safe working environment.

Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks to maintain our high standards and ensure our products are the best they can be.

Critical Control Points (CCPs): Understand and monitor CCPs to ensure food safety and compliance with industry regulations.

Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency.

Physical Labour: Be prepared for labour-intensive work, including lifting items up to 25kg

Paperwork: In some of our roles you will be required to accurately complete paperwork, including production logs and quality control documents.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within food production is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Depending on the level of the role, be able to change over the machinery during product change-overs on the production lines

Record and check product samples correctly 

Ability to lift up to 25kg and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with us.

Be able to work a 12 hour, 3 on 3 off Shift pattern
