IS Data Engineer

We are looking for an IS Data Engineer to join our tasty business. The right candidate will not only have a passion for everything IT, but also have a love for food too! 

IS Data Engineer

The IS Data Engineer be working with all departments to design and create data-driven solutions based on their requirements. Entire business processes can be created from these solutions and you will be responsible for managing these solutions from data creation or extraction, to creating data pipelines using ETL processes, then using the data in reports or other data-driven systems. The role will essentially aim to integrate multiple sources of data into pipelines for usage across group-wide systems.

Key Technical Skills / Experience:

• 3+ years experience in a business systems related role 
• Strong technical skills including solid knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language
• Ability to navigate and adapt within an environment where many applications are used
• Experience of managing the expectation of senior level customers
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship skills
• Excellent administrative skills with a focus on process documentation
• Good basic maths and English
• Experience of working in the FMCG sector
• Understanding of IT compliance 
• Understanding of Data protection

Qualifications:

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject is desirable
• Relevant technical qualifications are desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
