Pay Rate: £10.75 p/h Weekly pay.

Overtime Available: Paid at time and a half. 

Shift Pattern: Day Shifts 06:00am – 18:00pm 4 on 4 off

We are recruiting people to join our Hygiene team in Market Drayton.

Hygiene Operatives

As a Hygiene Operative you will:

• Carrying out general hygiene duties within all areas of the factory.
• Standard and deep cleaning of food process machinery.
• Fabrication cleaning within Factory.
• Cleaning food equipment within the hygiene washrooms.
• Completion of relevant paperwork.
• Assisting in general amenities and hygiene duties if and when required to do so.
• Training will be required for a fork lift truck license depending on the candidate.
• Work in all areas of the factory both Low Care & Hi Care, Yard and externals.
• Use of chemicals whilst carrying out hygiene tasks.
• Appropriate use of PPE which is supplied for specific tasks.

What we need from you:

• Basic English skills, able to communicate with those around you.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
• You will be reliable, and hard-working and can work within a team in a very busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good attendance, flexibility to hours and being punctual.
• Willingness to learn and progress in your role.

We are currently looking for numerous roles across the company, operatives / Formulation/ Seasoning / Line Operatives as well as Service Operatives to join our busy team. 

Palethorpes Bakery is part of the newly created Compleat Food Group, specialists in the production of sausage rolls and pies for all major UK retailers. 

Full time and permanent roles are available, we have a wide variety of different positions available in our Production and Manufacturing team and are confident we have a role to suit everyone.
