Hours: 6am-6pm (3on3off rotating shift pattern)

Based at our newly expanded fried manufacturing site in Milton Keynes, which has gone through significant investment over the last 6 months, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Hygiene Operative's.

Job Description: 

We are seeking a diligent and dependable Hygiene Operative to join our day shift team at our food production site. Responsible for the safe and hygienic flow of product through the production line, you will effectively complete all cleaning tasks as directed by the Hygiene Team Leader and in line with the company and BRC defined processes. You will work as part of a team to achieve the hygiene plan, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of any hygiene or food safety issues to the Hygiene Team Leader. The role requires adherence to safe manual handling processes and food safety hygiene standards at all times, along with continual housekeeping and maintenance of a safe working environment. Key Duties:

  • Responsible for thorough and timely cleaning of the factory equipment and site maintenance e.g. canteen, changing rooms
  • Carry out all factory cleaning tasks as scheduled and directed by the Hygiene Team Leader and follow all instructions
  • Effective completion of cleaning paperwork.
  • Carry out all visual checks in accordance with documented procedures
  • Ensuring safe practices are adhered to and health & safety is top priority on production floor
  • Reporting of any non-conformances, anomalies, or broken equipment
  • Follow correct hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Follow safe manual handling procedures at all times.
  • Maintain food safety at all times based upon the principles of HACCP.
  • Correct PPE to be worn for the relevant high risk/low risk areas of the production floor.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by the business.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of food processes and safety regulations
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work 3on3off rotating shift pattern
  • Food Hygiene Level 3 (Desirable)
  • HACCP – Level 2 (Desirable)
  • COSHH – Level 2 (Desirable)
