JOB TITLE:                    Store Operative 

LOCATION:                   Warehouse and Factory                          

REPORTING TO:           Warehouse Manager 

OVERALL PURPOSE:    

 To assist in the smooth and efficient running of the operations within the stores and the surrounding areas. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES. 

  • Receiving raw / packaging materials in from suppliers following the company procedures.  

  • Issuing raw / packaging materials from the factory using the raw material requirement sheets and recording this information onto Tropos system.  

  • Receiving raw / packaging materials from the factory following the company procedures.  

  • Transferring raw, packaging and finished goods to outside storage making sure that they are labeled up correctly and are in a good condition and recording this information in the transfer books.  

  • Monthly stock checks.  

  • Perpetual stock checks by location.  

  • Ensure that all health and safety requirements are adhered including good housekeeping including the yard/bay areas. 

  • Reporting any discrepancies to stock control. 

  • Any other reasonable duties requested by the Warehouse manager.  

  • Ensure Allergens are controlled and stored correctly

As a representative of the company, conduct themselves in a responsible manner that reflects the professionalism of the company at all times. 

  • Must not divulge to any 3rd party any confidential or sensitive information 

  • Must adhere to company’s time-keeping & absenteeism policy 

  • When required must carry out other duties, linked with the trade as reasonably requested in relation to the needs of the business.
