ERP Program Director (Food Manufacturing)

Are you an experienced ERP Programme Director ready to lead a transformative change in the Food Manufacturing industry? The Compleat Food Group are seeking an experienced individual to manage the delivery of an exciting multi-phased business change programme, including the roll-out of “Infor M3 Cloud-suite” across our “multi-site” group. 

As an experienced ERP Programme Director, you will manage activities, resources, and interdependencies for the implementation of “Recipe Professor” Product Lifecycle Management system alongside the implementation of Supply Chain Management systems. Your role will be crucial in managing the potential business risks associated with the delivery of the overall change programme while ensuring it is delivered successfully on time and in budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Lead and manage a cross-functional project team, including matrix and 3rd party resources, to ensure project goals are met. Work closely with key vendors, especially Infor, Point74 (Recipe Professor), and Futurmaster (SCM).

Project Management: Assemble project plans, budgets, and teamwork assignments, direct and monitor work efforts, identify resource needs, and perform quality reviews. Track key project milestones and adjust plans/resources as needed.

Stakeholder Communication: Effectively coordinate and communicate with all areas of the business that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project. Act as the focal point for all project-associated activities.

Change Management: Manage change through consultation with others to drive business improvements. Champion change with end users and influence at C-suite level for successful project outcomes.

Project Governance: Deliver the project within a recognised project governance framework, ensuring project goals are met within budgets and timescales.

Reporting: Produce timely project status reports, and communicate effectively with the Board and project Steering Group to manage expectations around project delivery.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification is essential.
  • Business Analysis qualification is desirable.
  • Experienced in ERP implementation methodologies. 
  • Full UK driving license is essential – you will be required to travel round our UK sites, and spend time at our Nottingham Head Office, so flexibility in location is considered.
  • Broad experience in implementing control via a project governance framework.
  • Proficiency in intelligent use of project management technology.
  • Experience articulating complex challenges and issues in a constantly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a multi skilled team, within a business change program and influencing at C-suite level.

Company/Industry Knowledge:

  • Extensive experience in multi-site ERP implementations as part of a wider business change portfolio.
  • Background of operating in a fast-paced, time-critical, 24/7 manufacturing (preferably FMCG) business.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix/virtual team environment.
  • Experience in managing a business systems change portfolio with interdependencies affecting project delivery.
  • Proven ability to implement and deliver projects in complex environments to Cost, Time, and Quality.
