Despatch Finance Administrator

£11.74 per hour + £12 per day

We are currently looking for an individual to become our Despatch Finance Administrator. The purpose of this role is to manage all activities on the shift ensuring all goals and targets are met within the agreed time, cost, quality, safety, people and environmental parameters.


Tuesday to Saturday, 8am – 4pm

*Please note this is an office based role


Key Responsibilities

Labour Planning/Communication

Including: shift hand overs, escalation of any issues with service


Manage Process

Including: checking process/equipment for reliability & performance. Identify bottlenecks within the process, report and conduct problem solving with relevant team members.


Manage Quality and Food Safety

Including: Maintain product quality and maintain GMP


Build Sustainability Through People

Including: Orientate new team members through training, complete RTW, communicate key business updates, escalate opportunities/concerns, ensure adequate skill cover, cover essential elements of Despatch Manager, time and attendance sheets to be completed


Manage Maintenance

Including: Co-ordinate shift maintenance activities with Engineering to ensure planned and reactive maintenance work is delivered.


Manage Health and Safety

Including: Complete daily shift Health & Safety checks and ensure H&S of despatch staff


Essential Skill Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English

Attention to detail

Knowledge of food industry standers

Proficient in the use of MS Office tools
