The Compleat food Group based in Crewe, home to Wright’s Food Group, specialise in the quality production of pastry, confectionary and ready meal products. We have an open office with multiple departments all working together, providing a good opportunity to witness different areas of the business operating, whilst working in your own department. No 2 days are the same, adding variety to your week.

An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our Supply Chain & Finance team as a Business Administrator Apprentice. In this role you will provide admin and transactional support across the supply chain and finance departments.

Key Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Sales Order Processing

  • Provide assistance to Supply Chain Administrators with sales order processing.
  • Provide cover for Supply Chain Administrators during periods of absence

Accounts Payable

  • Assist accounts payable function – scanning and indexing invoices, assigning to managers for authorisation etc.
  • Support the implementation and use of Docuware, ensuring master data is maintained
  • Respond to supplier queries

Supply Chain Administration

  • Assist with routine administrative tasks
  • Support production and distribution of daily KPI’s and other periodic reports
  • Provide purchase orders on request and ensure all orders have been authorised prior to being raised
  • Raise ad hoc orders as required

Other

  • Ad hoc office administration duties
  • Provide absence cover for reception area and for other team members. 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • You will study towards a recognised Apprenticeship qualification.
  • IT Skills – Excel, Word, Outlook & Data Input.
  • Ideally have Maths & English GCSE.
  • Accurate attention to detail.
  • Highly organised.
  • Good with numbers.
  • Friendly & approachable.
  • Drive and passion to make a difference.
