Oven Operative

Crewe Bakery, an award-winning and market-share leading frozen  ‘Chilled Savoury Pastry’ food manufacturer, are currently looking to recruit an Oven Operative to work within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate the following skills and have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Operate and assist in the operation of traveling ovens and rack ovens
• Follow internal paperwork accurately
• Ensure all procedures including GMP/GHP and CAYGO are followed

Skills Required:

• Ability to highlight any training issues within the department.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Computer skills would be of an advantage.
• Understanding of Quality Assurance procedures.
• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to.5o
• Ensure GMP within the department.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role desirable

Shift: Noon’s Monday to Friday 

Hours: 14.00- 22.30
