Accounts Payable Supervisor – 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a highly experienced Accounts Payable professional with a strong ability to resolve payment queries and streamline processes? We’re looking for a confident and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our dynamic Finance Team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth AP operations, resolving queries efficiently, and driving process improvements.

Reporting to the Group AP & AR Finance Manager, you will play a key role in improving processes whilst maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Fridays 8:30 – 16:00, who doesn’t love an early finish on a Friday?!

Your Duties Will Include:

KPI Reporting – Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive efficiency
Query Resolution – Handle and resolve supplier and internal queries promptly
Aged Creditors & Debit Balance Reviews – Ensure timely review and reconciliation of accounts
Invoice Processing – Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices
PO Raising & Management – Manage purchase orders to ensure smooth procurement processes
Supplier Set-Up & Amendments – Oversee new and amended supplier requests with due diligence
Supplier Statement Reconciliations – Ensure completion and accuracy of reconciliations
Process Improvements – Identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing AP processes

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Highly experienced in AP and resolving payment queries
Comfortable and confident using all Microsoft Office packages
Strong communication skills to connect with your team and stakeholders
Ability to handle and resolve queries effectively
A genuine enthusiasm for personal and professional development
Enjoy working in a fast paced working environment
